Job summary

Heartland is hiring a Part Time Dental Assistant for Pinnacle Center Dental Implants and Periodontics in Pennsylvania. You will greet patients, review health histories, take x-rays (DANB RHS/PA certification required), and provide four-handed chairside assistance.

Qualifications

Must have dental assisting knowledge and customer service experience.
Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness required.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
Review patient health history to provide quality care.
Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures following state practice act.
Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
Prepare treatment room with OSHA & CDC safety standards.
