Affordable Dentures & Implants in Anderson, SC is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. You will provide chairside support during denture procedures, implants, and oral surgery, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include preparing operatories, taking X-rays per state rules, maintaining infection control, and educating patients on treatment options and home care.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certification as Dental Assistant and X-ray where required by state.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.

Mansioni

• Provide chairside support and ensure a welcoming patient experience.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, and materials for each patient.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery and extractions.
• Take alginate impressions and wax bites under supervision.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs where permitted.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and home care.
• Document medical histories and treatment notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs per state requirements.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization standards.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
