Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. You will provide chairside support through denture, implant, and oral surgery procedures, while educating patients on care and financial options.

The role offers growth opportunities in a fast-paced prosthodontic setting. You’ll work with experienced dentists and in-house lab professionals to deliver high-quality tooth replacement solutions and improve patients’ confidence.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (where required by state).
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care.
• 1+ year of dental assisting experience (preferred).
• Experience with dentures, removable prosthetics, or dental implants (preferred).
• Experience taking denture impressions and wax bites (preferred).
• Experience assisting with oral surgery and extractions (preferred).
• Experience with prosthodontic procedures (preferred).
• Familiarity with dental practice management software and electronic patient records (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Deliver chairside support and create a welcoming patient experience.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with denture impressions and wax bites.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, and repairs per state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-operative care, home care, and financial packages.
• Obtain and document patient medical histories, treatment information, and clinical notes.
• Take dental radiographs per state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support daily office operations and maintain a clean clinical environment.
• Travel occasionally for training and continuing education.
• Perform additional duties to support patient care.
