Affordable Dentures & Implants in North Charleston, SC is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. You will provide chairside support across denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics while maintaining infection control and high patient care standards.

Responsibilities include preparing operatories, assisting with impressions, radiographs, and explaining treatment options to patients.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Dental Assistant and X-ray certification, where required by state.
Strong communication and patient service skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding chairside patient care and create a welcoming experience from check-in to treatment.
Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each patient appointment.
Assist dentists during denture procedures, dental implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
Take and assist with denture impressions, select impression trays, and prepare wax bites under dentist direction.
Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, repairs, and other expanded duties as allowed by state law.
Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-op care, and financial packages.
Obtain and document patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately.
