Affordable Dentures & Implants seeks a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team and support denture procedures, implants, and oral surgery. You will work closely with dentists and lab staff to deliver high-quality tooth replacement solutions and provide exceptional patient care.

The role involves chairside assistance, patient education, radiography, and maintaining infection control in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (where required by state) is required.
• Strong communication and patient service skills are essential.

Aufgaben

• Provide exceptional chairside support and help patients throughout treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for each patient appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, dental implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with alginate denture impressions, select impression trays, and prepare wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, repairs, and other expanded duties as permitted by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-operative care, and home care instructions.
• Obtain and document patient medical histories, treatment information, and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterilize instruments and operatories.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support daily office operations and maintain a clean clinical environment.
• Travel occasionally for training and continuing education.
