Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. You will support dentures, implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics, while delivering exceptional patient care

The role involves preparing operatories, taking impressions, assisting with surgeries, and educating patients on treatment options and aftercare in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification are required where state law mandates.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills are essential.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting with teamwork.
• Commitment to professional, compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support and a welcoming patient experience from check-in to treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for each patient.
• Assist dentists during dentures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic procedures.
• Take alginate impressions and wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, adjustments, and repairs where permitted.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implants, and post-operative care.
• Document patient histories, treatment data, and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs in line with state requirements.
• Maintain infection control by cleaning and sterilizing instruments and rooms.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Travel for training and continuing education as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support patient care and office success.
