Job summary

Heartland Dental's Fairchild Oaks Dental Care in Florida is hiring a patient-focused Dental Assistant. The role requires 2+ years in general dentistry, proficiency in digital radiographs, and experience with intraoral scanners. You will support dentists with four-handed dentistry and help educate patients.

Greet patients, review health histories, take X-rays, manage supplies, and use Dentrix for scheduling. We offer full-time, PTO, holidays, 401(k), and a collaborative team committed to growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in General Dentistry.
• Proficient in taking digital radiographs.
• Experience with impressions and digital scans (iTero or other intraoral scanners).
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, maintain patient comfort, and provide education.
• Review patient health history to inform quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
