Job summary

Marshfield Family Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in Marshfield, MO. The role offers both part-time and full-time schedule options and focuses on patient comfort, education, and high-quality care.

The successful candidate will assist with x-ray processing, chairside support, and use of Dentrix, while following OSHA and HIPAA guidelines to protect patient information and safety. Join a patient-centered practice within Heartland Dental’s network.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include knowledge of dental procedures and patient PHI handling.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• If required under state practice act, dental assistant and/or x-ray certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients from the start of their dental journey.
• Conduct a health history review to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photos).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with OSHA & CDC-compliant safety protocols.
• Manage supplies and place orders to support office workflow.
