Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join Marshfield Family Dental Care. This role offers Part-Time and Full-Time schedule options, with access to state-of-the-art technology and a supportive team focused on delivering excellent patient care.

Your responsibilities include chairside assistance, patient health history reviews, x-ray processing, and using Dentrix for scheduling while maintaining safety protocols and HIPAA compliance. A passion for patients and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients from the start of their dental journey.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (e.g., iTero 3D scanner).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
