Job summary

Heartland Dental's Dental Care of Westminster is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join a collaborative team. You’ll greet patients, assist during procedures, take x-rays, and help maintain a safe, efficient operatory using Dentrix for scheduling and records.

The ideal candidate has dental procedures knowledge, strong communication skills, and required certifications. Comfortable in a fast-paced setting and able to lift up to 45 pounds. We offer competitive benefits and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them during treatment
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC)
• Manage supply and inventory and place orders
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow
