Heartland Dental is the nation's largest dental support organization, partnering with Walk Shores Dental Care in Orlando to deliver exceptional patient care.

As a Dental Assistant you will greet patients, assist dentists, take x-rays and help with scheduling using Dentrix, while upholding safety and HIPAA standards.

This role offers weekday hours, no weekends, onboarding and ongoing training, and opportunities to grow within a stable, nationally recognized practice.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI data safeguards required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients, ensuring comfort throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to inform quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero, digital photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records; maintain supply levels.
