Job summary

O'Fallon Family Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You will greet patients, review health histories, take x-rays, and provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry using Dentrix for scheduling and records.

Ideal candidates have dental procedures knowledge, valid dental assistant and/or x-ray certifications, strong communication, and HIPAA training. You will work Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm with competitive benefits and a supportive Heartland Dental network

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients from the start to finish.
• Review health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanning, etc.).
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
