Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant for East Creek Dental Care. The role involves welcoming patients, reviewing health histories, taking X-rays with iTero, and providing four‑handed chairside assistance. You’ll use Dentrix for scheduling and maintain a safe, efficient treatment environment.

A sign-on bonus is offered and ongoing training is provided. The position emphasizes patient care, team collaboration, and adherence to PHI protections.

Competenze

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and data safeguarding awareness.

Mansioni

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, sustain patient comfort and provide education throughout treatment.
• Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to supported dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room with adherence to OSHA & CDC safety protocols.
• Manage supplies and inventory levels and place/expedite orders as needed.
• Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.
