Heartland Dental seeks a Dental Assistant for Verona Dental Care to support patients from the start of their dental journey. You’ll help with health history reviews, x-rays, and chairside assistance while upholding safety and PHI safeguards. The team is collaborative and benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid holidays, and PTO.

Daily duties include using Dentrix, coordinating schedules, and maintaining equipment, with a strong emphasis on patient comfort and quality care.

Formación

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant and/or x-ray certification if required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training awareness and data protection.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and 3D images.
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment rooms per safety protocols.
• Manage supplies and place orders as needed.
• Support Heartland systems to improve office workflow.
