Heartland Dental’s Washington Family Dental is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to welcome patients, support clinicians with four-handed dentistry, and contribute to a modern, patient‑centered practice.

You’ll review health histories, take and process X-rays (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography), use Dentrix for scheduling and records, and maintain a clean, safe treatment room in line with OSHA/CDC guidance.

Qualifications

• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state.
• Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and HIPAA training.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to protect PHI and data safeguards.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process X-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following OSHA and CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and inventory; place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
