Job summary

Heartland Dental in Lavon, TX is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a new, state-of-the-art office focused on patient care. The ideal candidate is proficient with Dentrix, familiar with implants, able to make temporary crowns, and a positive team asset.

You will work with advanced technology, support clinicians, and help maintain a patient-first environment with ongoing learning and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with dental procedures and terminology.
• Certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide ongoing patient education.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols.
• Manage supply and inventory and place orders as needed.
• Support Heartland Dental systems to maximize workflow.
