Job summary

Ideal Dental in Flower Mound, Texas, is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. You’ll support dentists with procedures, take X-rays, and help manage patient flow in a clean, patient-focused environment.

You will perform iTero scans, maintain infection control standards, educate patients on oral hygiene, and collaborate with the full team to deliver exceptional care and beautiful smiles for our community.

Qualifications

• Active RDA license and CPR certification.
• At least 6 months to 1 year of RDA experience in a dental practice.
• Travel may be required for new offices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of dental procedures.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Prepare and break down operatories after each procedure.
• Manage patient flow and transfers.
• Ensure infection control standards are met.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
• Take impressions and bite registrations.
• Conduct digital iTero scans.
• Assist with patient charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with the practice team to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
