DENTAL ASSISTANT – INSTRUCTOR – PART TIME – MORNINGS - MONDAY-FRIDAY

Classes run M-F, 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM. We seek experienced Dental Assistants to become fully trained instructors for year-round classes, working 2-4 days a week.

We are looking for experienced Dental Assistants to train as instructors, teaching year-round classes as Primary Scheduled Instructors or Secondary Instructors, ready to step in as teaching assistants or substitutes as needed. Our classes run year-round.

Dental Assistant Instructor Duties Include

• Teaching in the Dental Assisting classroom with 10-20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Learning the curriculum and delivering lectures and demonstrations, following Ross’s lesson plans.
• Class sessions are 4.5 hours, scheduled during the day or evening.
• This is a part-time position, typically 9-18 hours per week.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in the field, with a national certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA from AMT) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA from DANB), and formal training in a dental assisting program like Ross. Alternatively, 5+ years of experience with a national certification also qualifies. Additional requirements may vary based on state, program, and accreditation standards.
• Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience.
• Flexibility and a passion to learn and grow.
