Dental Assistant Instructor

Position: Part-Time Dental Assistant Instructor – Weekday Mornings & Evenings

We are seeking experienced Dental Assistants to train as instructors to teach, substitute, and cover for time off. This role involves training to become fully qualified instructors to teach year-round classes, including primary scheduled instructors and secondary substitutes. Our programs aim to equip students with essential healthcare skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach in the Dental Assisting classroom, managing 10-20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
  • Learn curriculum materials and deliver lectures and demonstrations based on Ross lesson plans.
  • Conduct class sessions of 4.5 hours during day or evening hours.
  • This is a part-time position, approximately 9-18 hours per week.

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in the dental field, with a national certification such as RDA (AMT) or CDA (DANB). Alternatively, 5+ years of experience with certification qualifies. Formal training in a dental assisting program like Ross is preferred.
  • Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience.
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn, and growth-oriented mindset.
