Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant Instructor for morning and evening classes at the Portage campus. The role focuses on teaching dental assisting, delivering lectures, and guiding students through clinical and administrative skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in dental assisting and a national certification (RDA from AMT or CDA from DANB).
• Formal training in a dental assisting program is required, with Ross coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach in dental assisting classrooms with 10–20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross curriculum and lesson plans.
• Class sessions run 4.5 hours, part-time (typically 9–18 hours per week).

DENTAL ASSISTANT – INSTRUCTOR – PART TIME - MORNINGS AND EVENINGS

Portage - Campus based position

We are looking for experienced DA's to become fully trained instructors for year round morning & evening classes 2-5 classes a week.

Classes are M-F 8:30-1 and M-TH 5:30-10.

Dental Assistant Instructor duties include:

• Teach in the Dental Assisting classroom with 10-20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Learning the material and delivering lectures and demonstrations, working from the Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
• Class sessions are 4.5 hours in either day or evening sessions.
• This is a part-time position, typically 9-18 hours per week.

DA Instructor QualificationsRequirements

• 3+ years’ experience in the field and a national certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA from AMT) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA from DANB) and formal training in a dental assisting program like Ross.
• If you do not have the formal education, you can also qualify with 5+ years’ experience in the field and a national certification.
• *additional requirements or exceptions may be applicable based on the state, program, and accreditation requirements
• Interest in teaching or prior experience
• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow

• Clinical Coordinators need to have ability to travel to visit clinical sites or other meetings
