Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. in Warren, MI is seeking experienced Dental Assistants to become part-time Dental Assistant Instructors for morning and evening classes year-round.

Teach 8:30-1 in mornings and 5:30-10 in evenings, with 4.5-hour sessions; 9–22.5 hours per week, plus PRN coverage. This role provides an opportunity to inspire future health care professionals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in dental assisting and national certification (RDA or CDA).
• Formal training in a dental assisting program.
• Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience.
• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the dental assisting classroom with 10-20 students.
• Deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross curriculum.
• Conduct 4.5 hour class sessions in day or evening.

We are looking for experienced DA's to become fully trained instructors to teach scheduled year round morning & evening classes and PRN. Please let us know your availability.

Morning classes run M-F 8:30-1 and evening classes run M-TH 5:30-10

Dental Assistant Instructor duties include:

• Teach in the Dental Assisting classroom with 10-20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Learning the material and delivering lectures and demonstrations, working from the Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
• Class sessions are 4.5 hours in either day or evening sessions.
• This is a part-time position, typically 9-22.5 hours per week, more with PRN if desired

DA Qualifications and Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in the field and a national certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA from AMT) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA from DANB) and formal training in a dental assisting program like Ross. If you do not have the formal education, you can also qualify with 5+ years’ experience in the field and a national certification. *additional requirements or exceptions may be applicable based on the state, program, and accreditation requirements
• Interest in teaching or prior experience
• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow

• Prior teaching or formal tutoring experience using a developed curriculum, preferred
