Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. Lafayette campus is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant Instructor to teach morning and evening classes. The role involves instructing 10-20 students in clinical and administrative skills, following Ross curriculum, with 4.5 hour sessions across day or evening shifts.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in the field with RDA (AMT) or CDA (DANB) credentials, plus formal training. Flexible, growth-minded educators are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the field and a national certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA from AMT) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA from DANB).
• Formal training in a dental assisting program like Ross. If you do not have the formal education, you can also qualify with 5+ years’ experience in the field and a national certification.
• Interest in teaching or prior experience is preferred.
• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Dental Assisting classroom with 10-20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Learn the material and deliver lectures and demonstrations, working from Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
