Ross Education Holdings, Inc. in Evansville, IN is seeking a Dental Assistant Instructor for a part-time, morning or evening schedule. The role includes full training and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for new hires accepting the Primary Instructor schedule. Morning classes run 8:30–1, 9–22.5 hours/week; evenings 5:30–10, PRN.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in dental assisting and a national certification (RDA AMT or CDA DANB) with formal training in a dental assisting program.
• Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience.
• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Dental Assisting classroom with 10-20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
• Class sessions are 4.5 hours, with morning (M-F 8:30-1) or evening (M-TH 5:30-10) options.
• Part-time schedule typically 9-18 hours per week; more if teaching PRN.

We're looking for Morning and Evening Dental Assistants ready to become fully trained instructors for scheduled and unscheduled year round classes. Full Paid Training.

Morning classes are M-F 8:30-1. 9-22.5 hours/week

Evening Classes are M-TH 5:30-10 - these hours are PRN

Dental Assistant Instructor duties include:

• Teach in the Dental Assisting classroom with 10-20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.

• Class sessions are 4.5 hours in either day or evening sessions.
• This is a part-time position, typically 9-18 hours per week.
• More if you can also teach PRN.

QualificationsRequirements

• 3+ years’ experience in the field and a national certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA from AMT) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA from DANB) and formal training in a dental assisting program like Ross. If you do not have formal education, you can also qualify with 5+ years’ experience in the field and a national certification. *Additional requirements or exceptions may be applicable based on the state, program, and accreditation requirements
• Interest in teaching or prior experience
• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow

• Ability to remain objective and treat all students equally
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Adhere to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics
• Clinical Coordinators need to have ability to travel to visit clinical sites or other meetings
• Prior teaching or formal tutoring experience using a developed curriculum, preferred
• Perform related work as required
