Affordable Dentures & Implants in Sanford, NC seeks a compassionate Dental Assistant to support dentists across dentures, implants, prosthodontics, and oral surgery in a busy, lab-partnered practice.

You’ll provide chairside assistance, prepare operatories, take X-rays, maintain infection control, manage supplies, and educate patients on treatment options and aftercare. A high school diploma and required certifications are essential; denture/implant experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; valid dental assistant certification.
• X-ray certification as required by state.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support during treatments and maintain patient comfort.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for appointments.
• Assist dentists with denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take denture impressions and wax bites under direction.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, and post‑operative care.
• Document patient histories and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with state requirements.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
