Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification required where state laws mandate.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chairside support and maintain a welcoming patient experience from check-in to treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each patient appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, dental implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take alginate denture impressions, select trays, and prepare wax bites under direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and other duties as allowed by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, and post-operative care.
• Document patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with state requirements.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization standards.
