Affordable Dentures & Implants in Florida is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. You will provide chairside support across denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, and prosthetic treatments, while maintaining high infection control standards and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification required where state mandates.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Teamwork, professionalism and compassionate patient care expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support and guide patients through treatment experiences.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for each appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take denture impressions and wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines and related duties.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-op care, and care instructions.
• Document patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental X-rays per state requirements.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support daily office operations and maintain a clean clinical environment.
• Travel for training and CE as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support patient care.
