Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification required by state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional chairside support and help patients through every treatment stage.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each patient appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with denture impressions and wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and other duties as allowed by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, postoperative care, and care instructions.
• Obtain and document patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards.
