Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our growing team. You will provide chairside support and help patients throughout every stage of treatment in a specialized practice offering dentures, implants, and prosthodontics.

You’ll work with dentists and in-house lab professionals to deliver high‑quality tooth replacement solutions, while developing skills in removable prosthetics and oral surgery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant certification and X-ray certification as required by state.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to teamwork and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support and create a welcoming patient experience from check-in through treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each patient appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take alginate denture impressions and prep wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and expanded duties where permitted by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and denture/implant options and post-operative care.
• Document patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately.
