Philadelphia Dentures & Implants, part of Shared Practices Group, is seeking a highly motivated Surgical Dental Assistant with 1-2 years of experience to join our team. You will help establish and organize the back office, support the doctor, and ensure a sterile room ready for procedures.

Collaborative, organized professionals who can multitask and maintain patient care standards will thrive. The role involves chairside assistance, imaging, inventory management, and front-desk support as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of basic dental terminology.
• Experience with inventory management and supply ordering.
• Knowledge of implant procedures, All-on-Four and overdentures.
• Proficient in taking alginate impression.
• Compliant with OSHA regulations and infection control protocols.
• Adheres to HIPAA standards for patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Skilled in capturing CBCT and panoramic x-ray images.
• Maintains a positive, professional attitude.
• Demonstrates a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Highly organized, efficient and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Review patient medical histories and document meds and alerts.
• Set up and break down operatory equipment; charting.
• Assist the doctor chairside during surgical and dental procedures.
• Capture CBCT and panoramic images.
• Educate patients on procedures and post-operative care.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment rooms.
• Monitor inventory and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Support front desk and maintain patient care flow.
• Maintain chairside readiness and troubleshooting basic equipment.
• Oversee basic maintenance of office equipment.
