Job summary

Gallatin Dental Care, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. You will greet patients, review medical histories, take x-rays with iTero 3D scanner, and provide chairside support during a wide range of procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, as well as sustain patient comfort and provide education throughout treatment
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography)
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists during procedures
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
• Prepare treatment room with strict safety protocols per OSHA & CDC
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place/expedite orders
• Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize workflow
