Job summary

Midtown Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You will greet patients, review health histories, and support clinicians with four-handed dentistry. Use Dentrix for scheduling and maintain a safe room per OSHA/CDC guidelines.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state act.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
HIPAA training and PHI protection responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
Review patient health history to provide quality care.
Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to supported dentists.
Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
Prepare treatment room following OSHA & CDC safety protocols.
Manage supply and inventory; place and expedite orders as needed.
Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow.
