Job summary

Heartland Dental’s Dental Care at Arcadia Farm in Princeton is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant. You’ll work with Dentrix, assist during a variety of procedures, and help manage patient education and HIPAA safeguards. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• If required, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics.
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry).
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with OSHA & CDC compliance.
• Manage supplies and order expediting; support Heartland Dental systems.
