Job summary

Smile Design Trinity is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You will greet patients, review health histories, and provide thorough chairside assistance to supported dentists while using Dentrix for scheduling and records. Experience with x‑ray certification and digital imaging is preferred.

This role emphasizes OSHA/CDC safety, patient education, and teamwork within Heartland Dental's systems to optimize office workflow.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a dental setting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• If required under state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• HIPAA training and PHI data safeguards awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients from the start of their dental journey and educate during treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four‑handed chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record-keeping.
