Germann Crossing Dental Care, a Heartland Dental supported office in Gilbert, AZ, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. The role emphasizes chairside support, patient education, and accurate health history reviews.

You will take X-rays, assist with a variety of procedures, and use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping. Prior dental experience and an RHS certificate are required. Schedule includes Mon/Thu 8am-5pm, Tue 10am-7pm, Wed 9am-6pm, and Fri 7am-3pm with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of chairside dental assisting experience in a general dentistry setting.
• Dentrix or other dental software experience.
• Arizona RHS certificate is required for this role.
• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection must be observed.

Responsabilités

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process X-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists during a wide range of procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room with strict safety protocols per OSHA & CDC guidance.
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders; support office workflow.
