Job summary

Associated Dental Care Providers-Sun City is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. The role offers a Monday–Friday 8am–6pm schedule and involves greeting patients, reviewing health histories, taking X-rays, and providing four-handed chairside assistance with our supported Heartland Dental doctors.

Experience with Dentrix, strong communication, and adherence to safety protocols are essential. Arizona RHS certification and X-ray certification may be required by state law; training

Qualifications

• 4+ years of chairside dental assisting experience.
• Arizona Radiation Health & Safety (RHS) is required for this role.
• Dentrix or other dental software experience.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification may be required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance during a wide variety of procedures in accordance with state practice acts.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room with strict safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supply/inventory levels and place/expedite orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers and team to maximize office workflow.
