Dental Care of Citrus Groves, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to join our team. Schedule includes Monday to Wednesday shifts with a focus on patient comfort and high-quality care.

The role involves chart reviews, x-ray work, four-handed chairside support, and Dentrix-based scheduling and records. Certification requirements include Arizona RHS and coronal polishing (and X-ray where applicable).

Qualifications

• 1+ years of chairside dental assisting in a general dentistry setting.
• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software.
• Arizona RHS and coronal polishing certificates are required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and ensure comfort throughout treatment.
• Review health history to inform quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D, photos).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidance.
• Manage inventory and place supply orders as needed.
