Job summary

Heartland Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant for Associated Dental Care Providers-Bell in Glendale, AZ. The role involves greeting patients, reviewing health histories, taking X-rays, and providing four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.

You will use Dentrix for scheduling and maintain a sterile, compliant treatment room. Arizona RHS certification is required, along with 1+ year of chairside experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of chairside dental assisting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and empathetic, proactive communicator.
• Working knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists during a wide range of procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room following OSHA and CDC safety protocols.
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place/expedite orders as needed.
• Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow.
