Job summary

Heartland is hiring a Dental Assistant at 9th Avenue Dental Care in Pensacola, FL. You’ll support chairside procedures, patient education, and treatment setup with our digital tools. Enjoy a four‑day work week with Tue‑Fri 7:30am–5:00pm and a team that values patients first.

You’ll review health histories, take and process X‑rays, assist dentists, and manage room prep and inventory. Proficiency with Dentrix and iTero is helpful.

Qualifications

• 2+ years chairside dental assisting experience in general dentistry.
• Florida x‑ray certificate required.
• Dependable, self‑motivated, adaptable.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Proactive, organized, eager to learn; team player.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients from the start of their dental journey.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process X‑rays and other diagnostics (iTero, digital photography).
• Provide four‑handed chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records keeping.
