Coolidge Court Dental Care, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in Tallahassee. The position offers a four-day work week (Mon-Thu 7:45am-5:00pm) and a supportive environment focused on patient care.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year chairside experience, Florida x-ray certification, and familiarity with Dentrix. EFDA is a plus. On-site role with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ year of chairside dental assisting in a general dentistry setting.
• Dentrix or other dental software experience.
• A Florida x-ray certificate is required.
• EFDA certificate welcomed for new graduates.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and support comfort and education throughout treatment.
• Review health history to inform quality care.
• Take and process x-rays using iTero or analogous tools.
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols.
• Manage supplies and place orders to maintain inventory.
• Collaborate with providers to optimize office workflow.
