Job summary

ProSmile is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians in a fast-paced dental practice. The role involves chairside patient care, recordkeeping, and scheduling under the supervision of dentists and collaboration with dental hygienists.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED, an X-ray license, and CPR certification, with a preference for those with prior dental assisting experience and NJ licensure readiness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• NJ DRT license or willing to pursue licensure immediately required.
• X-ray license required.
• Active CPR Certification is required.
• Certified Dental Assistant preferred.
• 1+ years work experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists chairside and with patient care.
• Maintain inventory in operatories and assist with recordkeeping.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.
• Handle scheduling, follow-up treatment, and patient communications.
• Perform basic lab tasks: impressions, pour models, prepare cases for external labs.
