Job summary

Heritage Dental Group is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You’ll greet patients, review health histories, and provide chairside support using Dentrix and x-ray equipment.

The role includes preparing treatment rooms, maintaining safety standards, and assisting dentists across a range of procedures. Qualifications include knowledge of dental terminology, customer-focused experience, and applicable certification.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification may be required by state act.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with strict safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies and place orders; support office workflow.
