North Vermillion Family Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You will greet patients, review health histories, take X-rays, and provide four-handed chairside support during procedures.

Proficiency with Dentrix and a commitment to OSHA/CDC safety is required. Monday, Thursday, Friday 7:30am-5:00pm and Tue/Wed 7:30am-6:00pm; HIPAA training and PHI protection are essential.

Competenze

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must protect PHI and complete HIPAA training.

Mansioni

• Greet and welcome patients and support comfort and education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process X-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms adhering to safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supply, inventory, and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and improve workflow.
