Qualifications

• Licensed Dental Assistant with current registration or certification as required by state.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state.
• 2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Proficient in chairside assisting and four‑handed dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors and team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Breakdown operatory rooms and prepare trays and setups for procedures.
• Perform sterilization and ensure infection control compliance.
• Take dental radiographs and educate patients on oral hygiene strategies.
• Order and maintain supplies within the practice budget.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines and maintain safety requirements.
