Risas Dental and Braces is seeking a friendly, professional bilingual Dental Assistant to educate patients on treatments and support dentists in delivering high-quality care. This role emphasizes patient communication, efficient chair-side assistance, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• X-ray certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Coronal polish certification preferred.
• 1–2 years' experience in the dental field preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior knowledge of dental clinical operations and terminology.
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the doctor and patients.
• Warm, friendly, outgoing personality with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment and lend support as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors in all dental procedures and treatment.
• Sterilize, disinfect and prepare instruments and equipment for patient treatment.
• Educate patients on general oral health care as directed by the doctor.
• Present treatment options to patients based on doctor recommendations.
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients efficiently.
• Record patient charting and doctor’s notes in the digital chart.
• Maintain inventory and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with State/Federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Our Dental Assistant s work hands on with the d octors, in providing exceptional care for our patients while working efficiently to maintain patient flow.

• Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, and Risas policies and practices)
