Risas Dental and Braces in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a friendly and professional bilingual Dental Assistant to join the Risas Family. Our assistants educate patients on treatments and procedures while working hands-on with doctors to deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• X-ray certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Coronal polish certification preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in the dental field preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have superior knowledge of dental clinical operations and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors in all dental procedures and treatment.
• Sterilize, disinfect and prepare instruments and equipment for patient treatment.
• Educate patients on general oral healthcare as directed by the doctor.
• Present treatment to patients based on doctor recommendations.
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients efficiently.
• Record patient charting and the doctor’s notes in the digital chart.
• Maintain inventory and supplies.
• Comply with OSHA, HIPAA, and Risas policies and practices.
