Risas Dental and Braces is hiring a friendly, professional bilingual dental assistant. You will support doctors, educate patients, and help maintain efficient patient flow. The role requires Spanish/English, x-ray certification availability within 3 months, and a strong knowledge of dental terms and procedures.

Formación

• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• X-ray certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Coronal polish certification preferred.
• 1-2 years of dental experience preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior knowledge of dental clinical operations and terminology.
• Team player with a warm, friendly personality.

Responsabilidades

• Assist doctors in dental procedures and treatments.
• Sterilize, disinfect, and prepare instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on general oral healthcare as directed by the doctor.
• Present treatment plans to patients based on doctor recommendations.
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures efficiently.
• Record patient charting and doctor notes in the digital chart.
• Maintain inventory and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, policies).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors in all dental procedures andtreatment
• Sterilize,disinfectand prepareinstruments andequipmentfor patienttreatment
• Educate patients on general oral healthcare asdirected by thedoctor
• Presenting treatment to patients based ondoctorrecommendations
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients in an efficient and timely manner
• Record patient charting and all the doctor’s notes in the digital patient chart asdirected
• Maintain inventory andsupplies
• Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, andRisaspolicies and practices)
• Any other duties and responsibilities asassigned

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required
• High School Diploma or GEDrequired
• X-ray certification orability to obtainwithin 3months ofhire
• Coronal polish certificationpreferred
• 1-2years' experiencein the dental field preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must have asuperior knowledge of dental clinical operationsandterminology
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the doctor andpatients
• Must haveawarmfriendly, outgoing personality and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment and lendsupport, as a team player,to teammatesas needed.
