Job summary

Risas Dental and Braces seeks a friendly and professional bilingual Dental Assistant to join the RisasFamily. Our assistants educate patients on treatments, support doctors and keep patient flow smooth in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assisting procedures, sterilization, patient education, charting, and inventory management, with a strong emphasis on patient care and regulatory compliance (OSHA, HIPAA).

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• X-ray certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Coronal polish certification preferred.
• 1–2 years in the dental field preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior knowledge of dental clinical operations and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors in all dental procedures and treatment.
• Sterilize, disinfect and prepare instruments and equipment for patient treatment.
• Educate patients on general oral healthcare as directed by the doctor.
• Present treatment options to patients based on doctor recommendations.
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients efficiently.
• Record patient charting and doctor notes in the digital chart.
