Whyte Smiles—part of Heartland Dental—is seeking an Experienced Dental Assistant to join a collaborative team in Richmond, VA. The role offers a 4-day work week, Monday-Thursday, from 8:45am to 5:00pm, with no nights or weekends, and a full benefits package including health insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be a High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must hold a State Issued Dental Assistant Permit & X-Ray Credentials.
• Experience or familiarity with dental terminology and patient care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and maintain patient comfort throughout treatment.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics as needed.
• Assist dentists with procedures using four-handed dentistry.
• Manage scheduling and record keeping in Dentrix.
• Maintain safety protocols and OSHA/CDC compliance.
• Assist with inventory management and supply orders.
• Support team with Heartland Dental systems to optimize workflow.
