Job summary

Lifetime Dentistry at Short Pump, a Heartland Dental Supported Practice, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our patient‑focused team in Henrico, VA. You’ll work in a supportive environment that puts patients first and uses state‑of‑the‑art technology.

You’ll perform chairside assistance, take X‑rays, and use Dentrix to manage scheduling while enjoying a stable schedule with no nights or weekends and a comprehensive benefits package. Training and CE classes help you grow from day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State-issued Dental Assistant Permit and X-ray credentials required.
• New grads welcome to apply and training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process X-rays and digital imaging using iTero 3D scanner and photography.
• Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidance.
• Manage supplies and place orders to maintain workflow.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
