Job summary

Imagen Dental Partners is seeking a Dental Assistant to support a privately owned practice focused on patient-first care. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a 4-day work week without weekends.

The candidate will welcome patients, assist clinicians, manage back-office tasks, and ensure compliance with OSHA/HIPAA. Experience with common dental software is preferred, and state certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Radiology Certification, CPR, RDA or RDAEF are acceptable qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of dental technologies and back-office initiatives.
• Monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms.
• Take, expose, and mount dental radiographs.
• Contribute to team goals and maintain a safe environment.

General Overview

• Monday 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Tuesday 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Wednesday 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Thursday 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Friday Off

Responsibilities

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• RECRUITER TO UPDATE BASED ON KICKOFF CALL:
• 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assista
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
